Privacy policy
What we keep about you, why, and how to get it out. Last changed 30 October 2026.
Who is responsible
taalcut, based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India (legal details in the terms). Reach us at hello@taalcut.com.
When you join the waitlist
We keep:
- your name, email and, if you give it, your Instagram handle
- how many pages you told us you run
- where you came from (the link you clicked and the page that sent you) and your country, which our host tells us from your connection
- the date you joined
When you pay
Payment happens on Razorpay. Razorpay collects your payment details and handles them under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email, phone number, the amount, the date and a payment ID, never your card, UPI or bank details.
Why we use it
To tell you about the cohort, to give you your seat and session links, to answer your messages, to process refunds, and to keep the records the law asks us to keep. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared beyond the services that keep the site and payments running: Cloudflare (hosting, database, the bot check on the form) and Razorpay (payments).
How long we keep it
Waitlist details stay until you ask us to delete them or we stop running the cohort. Payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, usually eight years.
Your rights
Email hello@taalcut.com or DM @taalcut and say what you want: a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We do it within 30 days and tell you when it is done. Payment records we are legally required to keep are the only exception.
Cookies
No analytics, no ad trackers, no tracking pixels. The bot check on the waitlist form may set what it needs to do its job, and Razorpay's checkout sets what it needs to take a payment.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
